Stop Methley Quarry

The Stop Methley Quarry Campaign was formed when the Methley and Mickletown Residents Association became aware of the proposed quarry to be excavated and worked by Hargreaves in 2024.

It soon became obvious to the members of the association that others in the Methley community were unaware of what was happening.

This website is to keep you up to date with all the latest news regarding the proposed developments, Leeds City Council responses and our activities to challenge the building of the quarry in Methley. More and more people are becoming aware of the proposed quarry and are signing up for the newsletter.
